We are excited to welcome Ian McAdorey as the new Junior Varsity Assistant Coach for Westhill Boys Lacrosse!

A native of Florida, Coach McAdorey brings a wealth of playing and officiating experience to the program. He played collegiate lacrosse at Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military college, where he helped lead the Cadets to a GNAC Championship in 2013 and secured the program’s first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament berth. Before that, he attended Saint Andrew’s School (FL), winning three state championships against top national programs.

On the international stage, he first represented Israel Lacrosse in 2014, competing both abroad and in U.S.-based events. More recently, he has been a member of Ireland’s National Team, competing in two international tournaments since 2022, with hopes of many more to come.

Beyond playing, Coach McAdorey has extensive experience in the game. He has been a Section III Lacrosse official since 2020 and has coached at both the high school and youth levels in Vermont and South Florida. Now, he is eager to bring his passion for the game and leadership to the Westhill JV program.

Off the field, Coach McAdorey has worked in construction operations for nearly a decade and recently transitioned into the tech industry, working for an industry-leading construction management software company. A Westvale resident, he lives with his wife, Angela, and their two children, Hadley (4) and Archer (9 months).

Please join us in welcoming Coach McAdorey to the Westhill lacrosse family! We are excited to have him on board for the upcoming season.
